Conception, paper engineering and design of illustrations of an animated book. L’Atelier Cartographik designed this book as an ode to travel and the discovery of the mythical routes that cross our globe. Each route is a pop-up post card, which takes our readers into the motion of travelling through all three dimensions of the illustration. Anecdotes, illustrated maps or illustrations of the historical people of each route unfolds along the edge of each page like a travel guide. The colourful vintage atmosphere highlights the timeless dimension of these journeys taken by men for thousands of years. Pinpin, the adventurous dog, faithfully accompanies his companion in the journey of the aéropostale, la route du rhum, the silk road, route 66 or a trip to the moon.
Conception, ingénierie papier et création des illustrations d’un livre animé. L’Atelier Cartographik a conçu ce livre comme une ode au voyage et à la découverte des routes mythiques qui traversent notre globe. Chaque route est une carte postale en pop-up qui emmène le lecteur dans un mouvement pour voyager dans les trois dimensions de l’illustration. Les anecdotes, les cartes illustrées ou les illustrations de personnages historiques de chaque route se déplient sur les côtés de chaque page comme un guide de voyage. L’ambiance colorée vintage souligne la dimension intemporelle de ces trajets empruntés par les hommes depuis des millénaires. Pinpin, le chien aventurier accompagne fidèlement son compagnon dans la traversée de l’aéropostale, la route du rhum, la route de la soie, la route 66 ou le voyage sur la lune.
